The Senior Staff got a chance to work together for the first time this past week. RD Training concluded Friday night with a delicious meal at CW Burgerstein’s. Along the way, old friendships were renewed, and new friends made. The Senior Staff has learned a lot, and are ready to be the day to day guardians of our homes…and we are exciting that the RA staffs will be here soon to fill out the squad. Just a day till RA training starts and 10 days till First Years arrive…where did the time go.

Can you believe July is nearly over already? Well, it is, and that means these quiet halls will soon be brimming with college students again. As with each year, change is in the air, from the faces in the cafeteria to the location of the duty binders. As change happens, you can look to the ResLife blog for the latest updates. Invitations were sent out for this Sunday’s Inservice, which has been decided will serve as this years annual Staff Meet and Greet, to welcome new hires into the department. The event will take place this Sunday from 8-9 PM in the Babcock Dining Hall. Make sure to attend and get excited about the coming year.

On March 19th,the Director of Residence Life gave birth to a healthy baby boy, Evan James. Christie and her husband Tim welcomed their second little one to their family, and the third to the Office of Residence Life since last year. Congratulations go out to the proud parents!
